WHAT IS NUMINOUS?
The art exhibit is inspired by Carl Jung’s theory of self. Jung believed that human consciousness is made up of three parts:
Ego – represents the conscious mind and is made up of thoughts, memories, and emotions of a person.
Personal unconscious – forgotten information and repressed memories.
Collective unconscious – is expressed through universal archetypes such as patterns, and memory traces that are shared with other humans.
These themes will be present in the exhibit
In the art exhibition of Numinous: A Mystical Introspection the artists will present their works that will be explored through Carl Jung’s theory of self – Ego, Personal Unconscious, and Collective Unconscious. Here, the A404 students of Multimedia Arts will show the diversity of every single artist. Individuality is the soul of an artist, that is why we are opening ourselves to those who want to seek and explore the different sides of themselves through art.
