Also known as Kidfrom07, my work examines the various forms this shield takes, as well as the reasoning behind it. For my pieces, I employ random thoughts as the common denominator, changing them is a manner of challenging the attitudes, fears, and unspoken rules that have shaped my mind. One method involves looking past the surface and paying serious attention to the subject. The difficulty is to see beyond the surface to capture the distinct self. My goal is to encourage folks who view my work to take a closer look at the world around them and to find beauty in unexpected places.
